These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Lingozo (the "Service"), operated by Slimcode (KvK 96900989) ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Lingozo is a language-learning application that provides dictionary lookups, spaced-repetition review, and practice exercises. The Service is intended for personal, non-commercial study.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for the activity that occurs under your account and for keeping your login credentials secure. You must provide accurate information and be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction.

3. AI-Generated Content

Dictionary definitions, example sentences, memory aids, practice questions, model answers, and automated feedback are generated by artificial intelligence. AI-generated content may be inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading. It is provided for study purposes only and should not be relied upon as authoritative or professional advice. Always verify important information with a trusted source.

4. Subscriptions & Refunds

Certain features require a paid subscription. You may request a full refund within 14 days of your initial purchase by contacting us at the email address below. Refunds outside this 14-day window are at our discretion and generally not provided. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the end of the current billing period.

5. Fair Use & Limits

To keep the Service reliable and to prevent abuse, usage is subject to limits — including for subscribers (for example, caps on AI-intensive operations). These limits are intended to accommodate normal personal study. If you reach a limit during normal, good-faith use, please email us and we will be happy to help.

6. Changes to Content

We reserve the right to modify, add, remove, or replace test materials, practice questions, question types, difficulty, scoring, and other content and features at any time, with or without notice.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including by attempting to circumvent usage limits, reverse-engineer or scrape content, share or resell access, or use the Service in any unlawful manner.

8. Disclaimer & Liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
